Med faction crystals sell for between 300k and 500k a piece now, with 400k about the average, making it a ~32m package value... but after the gift period, half of them will plummet to negligible values while even the multifrequency won't remain over 400k, so I doubt you'll get more than 20m out of it, if even that much.
So, 32m now, 20m or even less likely after the gifts (could end up being even under 10m for quite some time).
Fuel blocks sell at 14k-26k a piece (depending on race) and at the current prices, the gift package would be valued at ~70m ISK right now. Even if for some extreme reason they'll fall to ~10k a piece, which is actually quite unlikely to remain valid for long after the fuel block consumption starts, that's still 40m overall, more than the current total med faction crystal value.
So, 70m now, and still 40m at least a while later.
From where I'm standing, fuel blocks looks like the much better choice if you are to get it just so you can sell it any time soon.
